Selection process begins for Brunei's netball players for the 29th Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to be held from August 19 to 31.
The selection begins with 22 aspiring women who wants to wear the national jersey in a tryout which test their physical or fitness test.
From 22 aspirants, it will be cut to 18 which will be trained for the next two months. Then it will be trimmed to 15 who will be trained for three months. And a total of 12 players will be named after the intensive training to represent Brunei in SEA Games.
At the 2015 SEA Games in Singapore, Brunei took home the bronze medal. This coming SEA Games in Malaysia, the focus is to improve their medal color they have won.
The tryout held at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium Complex in Berakas last January was participated by determined players and Her Royal Highness Princess Fadzilah Lubabul Bolkiah.
