2017 Jujitsu World Championship U18 & U21


The 2017 Jujitsu World Championship U18 & U21 was held at Galatsi Olympic Hall in Athens, Greece from March 17 to March 19.

Some of our Southeast Asian Ju Jitsu athletes participated in this world championships and made an impact in this one of a kind martial art sports.

Among our Southeast Asian martial artists who won medal were Vietnam's Duo Hong Son and Thailand's Kinaree Adkins.

Duo Hong Son won bronze medal in the men's under-21 -56kg while Kinaree Adkins also won bronze medal in the women's -44kg in under-18 category.

At the end of the event, Russia won the over-all championships with 10 golds, 9 silvers and 26 bronze medals. Germany came second while United Arab Emirates placed third over-all.
