🏐 SMM 11th Girls' U18 Asian Volleyball Championship

The SMM 11th Girls' U18 Asian Volleyball Championship 2017 was held in Chongqing, China from March 5 to 13.  Eleven (11) teams participated in this Asian tilt. Thailand was the only Southeast Asian nation who sent team for this tournament. They joined Australia in Pool C.

Thailand defeated Australia in three (3) straight sets (25-14, 25-20, 25-11) in the preliminary round. Pool C was composed of only two teams - Thailand and Australia. Both teams entered the knock-out quarter finals after the second round matches.
In the quarter finals, Thailand dominated Chinese Taipei in a convincing three-set win. But in the semi-finals, the team vowed to Japan. The Thai team also lost to South Korean in the bronze medal match in the final day of the competition.

Japan won the championship against China in straight sets 25-16, 25-9, 32-30.
